BuySellLawFirm.com

Effective Date: 7/28/2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how TenThirteen, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the website located at BuySellLawFirm.com and any related services (collectively, the “Site”). This Policy is incorporated by reference into, and forms a part of, our Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms and Conditions.

By accessing or using the Site, submitting information through the Site, or otherwise communicating with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Site.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information we collect:

  • On or through the Site;
  • When you submit a request for a law-firm valuation, consultation, or other information through the Site;
  • When you communicate with us by email, telephone, or text message (SMS); and
  • Through cookies and similar technologies used on the Site.

This Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any third-party website or service that may link to or be accessible from the Site.

2. Information We Collect

  1. Information You Provide to Us. When you use the Site — particularly when you request a law-firm valuation or consultation — we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
  • Your name;
  • Your email address and telephone number(s);
  • The name, location, practice area(s), size, revenue, and other characteristics of your law firm or practice;
  • Any message, note, or other information you choose to submit through a form or in communications with us.
  1. Information Collected Automatically. When you access the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including:
  • IP address and general location derived from it;
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, and time spent on the Site;
  • Date and time stamps and other diagnostic data.
  1. Information From Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies as described in Section 6 below. [ASSUMPTION: Site uses standard web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and may use advertising pixels (e.g., Meta/Google). Confirm actual technologies so this Section and the CCPA “sale/share” disclosures are accurate.]
  1. Information From Third Parties. We may receive information about you or your firm from third-party sources, such as publicly available business databases, marketing partners, or analytics providers, and may combine it with information we collect directly.

We do not knowingly collect payment card information through the Site, and the Site is not intended for the submission of sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, health information, or financial account numbers). Please do not submit such information to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and to provide a law-firm valuation, consultation, or other information you request;
  • To contact you by email, telephone, or text message (SMS) regarding your request and our services (see Section 4);
  • To operate, maintain, evaluate, and improve the Site and our services;
  • To personalize your experience and deliver content relevant to you;
  • To conduct marketing and advertising, including sending you promotional communications you may opt out of;
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or unauthorized activity;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions and other agreements; and
  • For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

4. Telephone and Text Message (SMS) Communications

By providing your telephone number and submitting a request through the Site, you consent to be contacted by us and our authorized representatives at that number, including by automated telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and text messages (SMS), for purposes related to your inquiry and our services, as further described in our Terms and Conditions.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. Your consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not required to obtain a valuation or any service from us.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out at any time. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message, and you may opt out of marketing calls or emails by contacting us using the information in Section 12. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect communications necessary to respond to a pending request.

[NOTE FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW: This Section is coordinated with Section 4 of the Terms and Conditions, which is a live TCPA consent trigger. Confirm the Site’s form includes clear, conspicuous consent language and that opt-out mechanisms (STOP keyword handling) are operational before publication.]

5. How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose the information we collect in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers. To vendors and service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, data analytics, email/SMS delivery, marketing, and customer communications, subject to obligations to protect the information.
  • Professional Advisors. To our attorneys, accountants, and other advisors as necessary.
  • Business Transfers. In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
  • Legal and Safety. To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
  • With Your Consent. For any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain sharing of information with advertising or analytics partners through cookies and pixels may, however, be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act. See Section 7. [ASSUMPTION — verify against the actual ad/analytics technologies in use.]

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure and analyze traffic, and support marketing. The categories we use may include:

  • Strictly Necessary technologies required for the Site to function;
  • Analytics/Performance technologies that help us understand how the Site is used; and
  • Advertising/Targeting technologies that help us deliver and measure marketing. [ASSUMPTION — confirm advertising cookies/pixels are in use.]

You can usually manage cookies through your browser settings, and you may be able to opt out of certain analytics and advertising cookies through industry tools (such as the browser-level Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where required by law). Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”), provides you with the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:

  • Right to Know / Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
  • Right to Delete personal information we have collected from you;
  • Right to Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to Opt Out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information;
  • Right to Limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not intend to collect sensitive personal information through the Site); and
  • Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising your rights.

Categories of information collected in the preceding 12 months may include identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial/professional information (law-firm details), and internet activity information (usage data). We disclose these categories to service providers and, potentially, advertising/analytics partners as described above.

How to exercise your rights. Submit a request using the contact information in Section 12. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To opt out of “sale”/”sharing,” you may contact us or transmit a Global Privacy Control signal through your browser. [ATTORNEY REVIEW: If the Site actually sells/shares data, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link should be added to the Site footer per CCPA.]

8. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain other states (including, as applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others with comprehensive privacy laws) may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. To exercise any such right, contact us using the information in Section 12, and we will respond as required by applicable law. [ATTORNEY REVIEW: Confirm which state-law thresholds the Company meets; most are unlikely to apply to a lead-gen site below statutory volume thresholds, but the catch-all preserves compliance.]

9. Users Outside the United States

The Site is intended for users located in the United States. We do not intend to market the Site to, or knowingly collect personal information from, individuals located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law, and you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States. [ASSUMPTION per intake: no intended EU/UK collection, so no full GDPR regime is included. Advise if EU/UK marketing is contemplated.]

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and pursue legitimate business interests — and for as long as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

11. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and any transmission of information to us is at your own risk.
